Arnon Shiran, Chair of Board
Spent some twenty fascinating years of his adult life in field and management positions as part of his service in the Israeli Security Agency, and holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University. After completing his role in the ISA, he turned to the business world. A few years later, Arnon was hired by Jeff Rosen, an American businessman, who purchased the Maccabi Haifa basketball club. Arnon was first appointed to represent him in Israel, and later on was as Maccabi Haifa’s Executive Vice Chairman. In his role at Maccabi Haifa, Arnon led a reorganization process, combining tools from the business sector: recruited donors, managed communications with the fans and the authorities, and promoted community activities and violence prevention activities. During his time, the team had advanced to the Premier League, won the Israeli championship for the first time in its history (60 years after founding the club), and has since established itself as one of Israel’s leading basketball teams. Arnon lives in Hod Hasharon, is married, has two children and a granddaughter.
Kalman Shaham, Board member
Founder and owner of the Altshuler-Shaham Group, and a huge sports fan. Kalman is active in a number of NGO’s and works tirelessly to institute positive change and engender mutual respect in Israel society, as well as correct public administration.
Norit Dabosh, Chair of fund for children and youth in sports.
Board of Directors of Maman, Bank Yahav, Trans-Israel, the Restoration and the Caesarea Fund. Member of public committees: Healthcare Basket Committee, Beacon Light Selection Committee, former chairman of the Second Television and Radio Authority, chairman of the Habima National Theater. Nurit is a senior lecturer in marketing strategy and communications and is herself a certified basketball coach.
Larry Rubin, Board member
A founder of Value Sports and its first director, Larry defines himself as a social and business entrepreneur. He was awarded the State of California’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and Prevention of Delinquency and in 1980 was selected as one of the best high school teachers in the United States.
Shahar Rubinstein, Board member
First CEO of Value Sports. Shahar currently manages the Kedma youth village and boarding school for children who have dropped out of the regular educational system. He is a graduate of the Hebrew University’s Revivim Program.
Ziv Nevo, Board member
An associate manager of the Intel Israel’s IT branch as well as a volunteer and social activist. Ziv leads social change together with Synergy project, and is a member of the Maoz Program to develop change-makers in Israel. Ziv likes travelling, good wine and mountain biking.
Arik Shivak, Board member
Former coach of the Israel national basketball team. He recently coached the Maccabi Rishon Lezion team and led it to its first-ever championship. He won three league titles in the Netherlands twice and won the Belgian Cup twice. Arik is an inspirational sport leader.

Businessman and CEO of companies in the hotel, automotive and catering industries. Former chairman of the Bnei Herzliya Basketball Club.
Yitzhak Shadar, Board member
A strategic security consultant in Israel and abroad, ‘Yitzko’ served in a number of special security positions for 26 years, and was the Knesset sergeant-at-arms. He holds a B.A. in political science and strategy from Bar-Ilan University and is a certified mediator. ‘Yitzko’ currently is the VP for J. Gordon Consulting Engineers.

Peleg Hadar, Member of the general assembly
Entrepreneur and executive in high-tech and international communications. Peleg is an expert in investments, innovation and financing start-ups. He holds an M.B.A. in marketing and international commerce from Tel Aviv University.
Arie Alter, Member of the general assembly
One of the greatest goalies to play in Israel in the 1980s and 1990s, Arie helped his team win three championships. He served as the CEO for the Player’s Association for 14 years. Arie today is a leader for change in how values-based educational activities in Israelis sports clubs are funded.
Danny Oren, Member of the general assembly
A professional sports manager with a wealth of experience, Danny served as the professional manager for the Rio 2016 Olympic delegation. He currently is the director of the Sports Achievement Unit. A former volleyball player, Danny has devoted his life to the development of sports in Israel.
Amnon Raz, Member of the general assembly
One of the greatest Under-21 coaches in Israel. Amnon is the professional manager of Beitar Tobruk, and the former chair of the Israeli Coaches Association.
